What Am I Going to Do?
- Clean guest rooms and suites
- May help with laundry or light repairing of linen
- May help clean public spaces when required
- Other duties that the manager or supervisor may need help with

What Requirements Do I Need To Have?
- Must be able to speak English
- Must be able to communicate well with guests and other employees
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Must work well without supervision.
- Must also be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, and crawl over extensive time periods.

What about my education and experience?
- No housekeeping experience is required
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Direct housekeeping experience is an asset

Anything Else That I Should Know?
- This is mainly a day shift position
- Weekend availability is absolutely required (both Saturday and Sunday)
- The Wage starts at $14/hr

Position:
Guest Service Agent
Essential Functions:
· Greet customers, listens to understand requests, responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions.
· Completes the registration, check-in, and check-out procedures.
· Assists guests in making payments by accepting multiple forms of payment and ensures accurate completion of the task.
· Promptly answers the telephone-using positive and clear English communication.
· Uses the company computers to input and receive information.
· Remains calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity, and resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues.
· Fields guest complaints and enquiries; conducting through research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Familiarization in the use of a calculator to prepare calculations without error.
· Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
· Ability to stand and move throughout front office.
· Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to access and accurately input information using Property Management System.
· Auditory and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

Education and/or Experience
· Must have minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must have a minimum of 6 months' prior experience.
· Post- Secondary education in a related discipline is an asset.
· Similar experience is required.

Hours of Work
· 35 hours per week provided
· Must be available to work any time on any day
· Permanent Position

Compensation and Benefits Provided
· $14 per hour provided to start
· Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits available after 6 months for full time employees (more than 32 hours per week)
· Discount at all Clique Hotels & Resorts properties is available for all employees after probationary period has been completed
· We will help you find accommodation in the area if you are not able to find some on your own.

Groups Sales/Reservations Agent - Blackstone Mountain Lodge

Group Sales/Reservations Agent (BML)

Group Sales/Reservations Agent

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Exceed the expectations of all guests through unbeatable customer service and by responding attentively, efficiently and politely to all requests.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints
  • Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers
  • Negotiates, confirms and arranges group bookings and associated activities
  • Balances group accounts and confirms payments
  • Confirms all guest meeting and catering requirements
  • Communicates with other departments effectively.
  • Confirms and processes travel agent commissions.
  • Complete all necessary follow-ups from bookings and RFPs.
  • Weekly Reporting of sales activities.
  • Assist other departments when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must be able to communicate well with both internal and external clients.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Post -secondary education in a Hotel management discipline is an asset.

  • Extensive experience with sales, marketing, customer relations, and an office environment is preferred.

Other:

  • Must be available any day/time. Weekend work is required.
  • Comprehensive group benefits plan is provided after 6 months of full time employment.
  • Wage $14-$16/hr
  • Accommodation may be available for a rate of $12.50/day

Maintenance Worker - Falcon Crest Lodge

Maintenance Worker (FCL)

Falcon Crest Lodge – Canmore, AB

Maintenance Person

Essential Functions

- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a pleasant, timely, and efficient manner.
- Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete work order requests in a timely manner
- Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition
- Inspect public areas daily for any issues
- Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices
- Repairs may include (but are not limited to) plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs
- Respond to or perform duties of a groundskeeper
- Perform other duties as required in all areas of the property

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Must have excellent customer service skills. Pleasing the customer is an essential part of this role!
- Must work well without constant supervision.
- Must be able to repair and perform preventative maintenance on small appliances.
- Must have knowledge of hotel/resort issues, how they can be prevented and how to repair them.
- Knowledge of safety in maintenance is also a must.
- Must also be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, and crawl over extensive time periods.

Education and/or Experience

- Pool certification is an asset.
- WHMIS and First Aid is an asset.
- One or more (1+) years of building maintenance experience is REQUIRED.
- Minimum high school diploma is preferred.
- Tickets and other certifications are an asset.

Other

- MUST be available any day/time.
- Competitive wage and benefits package is provided.
- Wage varies depending on experience.
- Bonus and incentive program applicable after completion of the 6 months' probationary period.
- Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits are paid 50% by the employer after 6 months' probationary period.
